Third-party video embeds
VideoHighlights organizes links to videos uploaded and made available through YouTube by third-party publishers. We do not host, upload, distribute or control the underlying YouTube video files. Video playback and regional availability are governed by the relevant publisher and YouTube.
Embedded availability does not establish that a video is licensed for every use or region. If a rights holder identifies a problematic link on our website, we can review it and, where appropriate, remove the relevant embed or reference from our directory.
How to submit a copyright notice
Send your notice to [email protected] with:
- Your full name, organization (if applicable) and reliable contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is affected.
- The exact VideoHighlights page URL and, if known, the associated YouTube video URL.
- An explanation of why you believe the identified use or link is unauthorized.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner of the relevant exclusive right.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may request additional information if a complaint cannot be evaluated from the material supplied. Submitting a notice to VideoHighlights does not remove the source video from YouTube; YouTube also provides its own copyright reporting process.
Counter-notifications and mistakes
If you believe a link was removed in error, email the same address with the removed page URL, your explanation and relevant supporting details. We will review the request in light of applicable law and platform requirements.
