Germany’s Sebastian Vettel won Formula One’s season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the first race to start in daylight and end at night, in a Red Bull one-two finish. The 22-year-old German beat Australian Webber by a comfortable 17.8 seconds under the floodlights for his fourth win of the season to make sure of second place overall in the championship. Britain’s Jenson Button, who clinched the title in the previous Brazilian Grand Prix for his championship-winning Brawn GP team, rounded out his season with third place after hunting down Webber and chasing him nose-to-tail in the closing laps.

Briton Jenson Button won the Formula One World Championship after finishing fifth in a scrappy race at Interlagos in Brazil won by Mark Webber. Robert Kubica of BMW and McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton also finished on the podium, the latter having started down in 17th. The result saw Brawn claim the constructors’ title, becoming the only team to take the crown in their first full season. Title rival and Brawn GP team-mate Rubens Barrichello’s fate was sealed after suffering a late puncture while being passed by Button’s English compatriot Hamilton: he pitted and came home in eighth for a solitary point.

L’inglese della Brawn GP Button (regina tra i costruttori) ha vinto il Mondiale: a Interlagos gli è bastato arrivare dietro a Webber, Kubica, Hamilton e Vettel. Sfortunato Barrichello, settimo dietro a Raikkonen.

Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel led from start to finish in the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka to put himself back in the title frame with Jenson Button eighth behind Brawn team-mate and other title rival Rubens Barrichello. Vettel has 69 points after the victory, achieved at a circuit at which he had never previously raced, with Barrichello two ahead on 71 and Button still clear on 85 with two grands prix remaining. Jarno Trulli and Lewis Hamilton completed the podium, the Toyota man taking a place from the McLaren on the final round of pitstops. Kimi Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg and Nick Heidfeld filled positions four to six.

Il tedesco della Red Bull Vettel domina il GP del Giappone: uno straordinario Trulli e Hamilton sul podio. Un convincente Raikkonen è 4°. Barrichello 7° davanti a Button, ma l’inglese è più vicino al Mondiale. Costruttori: alla Brawn manca solo un punto.

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton won from pole at the Singapore Grand Prix while Jenson Button extended his lead over Brawn team-mate Rubens Barrichello to 15 points. Button crept home in fifth ahead of Brazilian Barrichello, while Timo Glock of Toyota and Renault’s Fernando Alonso completed the podium with Sebastian Vettel fourth.

L’inglese della McLaren Hamilton vince il GP restando sempre in testa: battuti Glock (Toyota) e Alonso (Renault) che dedica il podio a Briatore. Vettel quarto dopo una penalità. Button precede Barrichello e fa un altro passettino verso il titolo. Le rosse: Raikkonen 10°, Fisichella 13°.

Brazilian Rubens Barrichello won the Italian Grand Prix in a Brawn one-two to cut team-mate Jenson Button’s Formula One lead to 14 points with four races remaining. Button returned to the podium for the first time in six starts with second place, 2.8 seconds behind the veteran, in a race that made the title chase look even more like a private battle between the two. Finland’s Kimi Raikkonen was gifted third place for Ferrari after McLaren’s world champion Lewis Hamilton crashed on the last lap.

Il brasiliano Rubens Barrichello vince il GP d’Italia precedendo il compagno di squadra Jenson Button. Il ferrarista Kimi Raikkonen sul podio, Hamilton fuori all’ultimo giro quando era terzo. Poi Sutil, Alonso e Kovalainen. Fisichella nono.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen won his first grand prix of the season at Spa in Belgium from pole-sitter Giancarlo Fisichella while Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton crashed out on the opening lap. Behind Fisichella - who took the first points of Force India’s fledgling F1 involvement - Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull was also on the podium. He moves to third in the drivers’ standings after team-mate Mark Webber finished ninth behind the points positions filled by Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfeld, Heikki Kovalainen, Rubens Barrichello and Nico Rosberg.

GP del Belgio a Spa, 12ª prova del Mondiale: Kimi Raikkonen porta la Rossa al successo precedendo uno strepitoso Fisichella sulla Force India. Terzo Vettel, che recupera punti su Button, ritirato. Barrichello 7°, Webber fuori dalla zona punti, Badoer chiude ultimo.

Rubens Barrichello boosted his title hopes by winning the European Grand Prix in Valencia while Brawn team-mate Jenson Button could only manage seventh and the Red Bulls both left empty-handed. Lewis Hamilton looked set to win his second consecutive race before a pitlane debacle allowed Barrichello to snatch P1 with 17 laps remaining.

A Valencia un clamoroso errore ai box penalizza Hamilton (2°), il brasiliano Barrichello torna a vincere dopo 5 anni. Button allunga in testa al Mondiale anche grazie al ritiro di Vettel (motore). Webber 9°. Bene Raikkonen sul podio, Badoer chiude 17°.

Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton won the Hungarian Grand Prix as McLaren roared back to the front after a slump of 10 races without success. Kimi Raikkonen, driving the only Ferrari in the race after Brazilian team mate Felipe Massa suffered a serious head injury in qualifying, was second in a return to what seemed like a vanished order after nine races dominated by Brawn and Red Bull.

Il pilota McLaren Hamilton vince la sua prima gara del 2009 mettendo in fila il finlandese Raikkonen della Ferrari (ma nel dopo gara verrà sentito dai commissari per una manovra al via) e Webber, terzo con la Red Bull e ora secondo nel Mondiale. Button (BrawnGP) settimo, Vettel (Red Bull) ritirato.

Mark Webber became the first Australian for 29 years to win a Formula One grand prix as Red Bull took a one-two with Sebastian Vettel second at the Nurburgring in Germany. Pole sitter Webber won by a comfortable nine seconds from the home driver despite serving a drive-through penalty for an incident with Rubens Barrichello at the first corner. Felipe Massa was third in the Ferrari ahead of Williams’ Nico Rosberg, with the Brawns of Jenson Button and Barrichello following and Fernando Alonso (Renault) and Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren) completing the points positions.

Vince Mark Webber su Red bull. Nella nona prova del Mondiale il leader della classifica Button chiude quinto ma conserva 21 punti sul tedesco Vettel. Ottima prova del brasiliano della Ferrari che ritrova il podio. Quarto Rosberg, Raikkonen ritirato.

Sebastian Vettel produced a faultless drive at Silverstone to lead a Red Bull one-two in the British Grand Prix. The 21-year-old tyro finished 15.188 secs ahead of Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber to prove that the much-improved Milton Keynes-based team have the potential to challenge for world championship honours in the second half of the season. Vettel started from the fourth pole of his career and was never challenged as he pulled clear from the start and delivered a perfectly-judged drive to secure the third win of his brief career - and his first in dry weather.

Il tedesco Sebastian Vettel precede il compagno di squadra Webber e la BrawnGP di Barrichello. Felipe quarto con la prima rossa davanti a Rosberg, Button e Trulli. Raikkonen ottavo.
