Ferrari secured a one-two in the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours, Felipe Massa winning from Kimi Raikkonen. Toyota’s Jarno Trulli finished third, claiming his first podium of the season. Britain’s Lewis Hamilton suffered a terrible race after incurring a 10-place grid penalty for running into Raikkonen in the pitlane during the last GP in Canada, eventually finishing in 11th.

Poland’s Robert Kubica, driving a BMW Sauber, won a drama-filled Canadian Grand Prix in which pre-race favourite Lewis Hamilton took himself and Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen out of the race in an early pit lane collision. German Nick Heidfeld, also driving a BMW, claimed second place and Briton David Coulthard of the Red Bull stable finished third. After lap 18 of the 70-lap race, Hamilton ploughed into the back of Raikkonen’s car while he and Kubica were waiting for the red light at the end of the pit lane.

Britain’s Lewis Hamilton battled to a masterful Monaco Grand Prix victory despite hitting the barriers on an afternoon of mayhem in the rain. Hamilton reignited the scrap for this year’s drivers’ world championship with a memorable drive for McLaren in a race of treacherous wet and dry conditions. For the 23-year-old Englishman his first win on the famous Mediterranean street circuit was a dream result in his favourite race. Hamilton came home three seconds clear of his friend Pole Robert Kubica in a BMW Sauber with Brazilian Felipe Massa third for Ferrari after starting from pole position. This was the Briton’s second win of the season and the sixth of his career. Australian Mark Webber in a Red Bull was fourth.

L’inglese della McLaren è entrato oggi nel prestigioso club dei vincitori del GP di Monaco trionfando in uno dei GP più divertenti visti da un po’ di tempo a questa parte. Merito anche della pioggia al via che ha mescolato le carte e costretto praticamente tutti a errori grossolani. Lo stesso Lewis appena dopo la partenza ha sbattuto la posteriore destra rientrando ai box. Un episodio che lo ha pure favorito perché anticipando la sosta ha rifornito e modificato la strategia in modo perfetto per scavare il vantaggio decisivo nella fase centrale di gara, quando Massa e Kubica si sono fermati per la loro sosta.

Ferrari’s Felipe Massa won the Turkish Grand Prix from pole position for the third year in a row after tyre concerns slowed Lewis Hamilton’s challenge. The Brazilian took the chequered flag 3.7 seconds ahead of the 23-year-old McLaren driver, who ran most of the race on the harder tyres and had to make three pitstops compared to his rivals’ two.

It was Massa’s seventh win in Formula One, at the anti-clockwise track where he took his first in 2006, and his second in five races this season.

Ferrari’s world champion Kimi Raikkonen saw his overall lead trimmed to seven points from nine after finishing a close third.

Ha vinto Felipe Massa, al terzo successo consecutivo in Turchia, ed era un successo che si poteva facilmente prevedere. Ma il brasiliano c’è riuscito dopo una gara movimentata dalla scelta della McLaren di far effettuare a Lewis Hamilton una tattica su tre soste invece di due. Alla fine non è bastato all’inglese per vincere. Ma ha movimentato la corsa, regalando anche un bellissimo sorpasso, quello con cui Lewis è andato in testa a metà gara infilando proprio Massa.

Lewis Hamilton battled to a podium finish at the Spanish Grand Prix as Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa secured a Ferrari one-two. Raikkonen’s 17th grand prix win - from pole position - left the Finn with 29 points, nine clear of closest rival Hamilton, and catapulted Ferrari back in front of BMW Sauber in the constructors’ standings. Spaniard Fernando Alonso, who started on the front row for Renault, retired on lap 35 with a blown engine but he had already fallen down the field after being the first driver to refuel. Massa, winner in Bahrain, had got past double world champion Alonso at the start while Hamilton slotted into fourth place after muscling past BMW Sauber’s Robert Kubica from fifth.

A vincere è Kimi Raikkonen che precede sul traguardo Felipe Massa, per la casa di Maranello è la seconda doppietta consecutiva, per Raikkonen il secondo successo stagionale e il diciassettesimo in carriera, per Massa è la definitiva conferma dopo le prime due deludenti gare. Partito dalla pole position, Raikkonen ha anche fatto segnare il giro più veloce completando un dominio che è stato totale durante quasi tutto il weekend. Al terzo posto il pilota della McLaren Lewis Hamilton.

British star Hamilton damaged his McLaren after running into the back of his old sparring partner Fernando Alonso, having lost seven places at the start. He eventually trundled home in 13th.

A Sakhir grande doppietta delle rosse che dominano con il brasiliano Felipe Massa davanti a Raikkonen che ora guida il Mondiale (Hamilton solo 13°). Terzo e quarto posto per le Bmw di Robert Kubica e Nick Heidfeld.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen won the Malaysian Grand Prix from Robert Kubica’s BMW and Heikki Kovalainen’s McLaren as Felipe Massa spun out from second position and Lewis Hamilton suffered a pit-stop problem that limited him to fifth.

Arriva in Malesia, seconda gara della stagione, il primo acuto 2008 della Ferrari. Vince Kimi Raikkonen, davanti a Robert Kubica e ad Heikki Kovalainen. Ottimo 4° Trulli. Se il GP d’Australia era stato la sagra degli errori, di tutti meno che della McLaren, in Malesia trionfa la costanza e l’affidabilità della rossa. Non di Felipe Massa: il testa coda del brasiliano a 26 giri dal termine - quando si trovava in 2ª posizione - costringe a fare i conti con una doppietta mancata e due “0″ in due settimane nella classifica costruttori. Non sta meglio la McLaren: l’errore al primo pit stop che ha messo fuori gioco Hamilton.

McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton avoided the mayhem around him to open the Formula One season with a pole-to-flag victory in a crash-strewn Australian Grand Prix. The 23-year-old Briton, last year’s rookie sensation, finished 5.4 seconds ahead of Germany’s Nick Heidfeld in a BMW Sauber. Germany’s Nico Rosberg celebrated the first podium of his Formula One career with third place for Williams in a sweltering race that saw only seven of the 22 starters still running at the finish and neither Ferrari reach the chequered flag.

GP d’Australia pieno di errori: il pilota McLaren non sbaglia e vince davanti a Heidfeld (BMW) e Rosberg (Williams). Due rosse ferme per guasto tecnico nella stessa gara dopo 11 anni, ma Raikkonen è classificato 8° grazie alla squalifica di Barrichello. Alonso 4°.
