Scotland’s campaign for World Cup qualification got off to bad start, Sedloski’s free-kick cannoned off the post (brilliant save) and Ilco Naumoski was first on the scene to beat Craig Gordon after just four minutes. The Scots were toothless in the first half, James McFadden having their only real chance on target. Scotland improved after the break, Darren Fletcher missed a header while the Scots were unlucky not to be given a penalty when McFadden were both fouled in the box.
