Early on Brazil looked dangerous, Luis Fabiano cleverly fed Robinho but his shot was saved by Bravo. Brazil broke the deadlock soon after, Luis Fabiano’s flicked header from Ronaldinho’s free-kick sailed into the bottom corner. Ronaldinho then had the opportunity to extend the lead from the spot after Diego had been hacked down, but his spot-kick was superbly saved by Claudio Bravo. But Brazil were soon 2-up, Lucio’s long ball was collected by Luis Fabiano, who teed up Robinho, and the Manchester City forward side-footed a beauty into the net. Brazil added a third in the second half, Luis Fabiano bagging his second of the match in the 82nd minute by wriggling free in the box and firing low across the keeper.
