19/08/2008: Argentina-Brazil 3-0 (Soccer - Beijing 2008 Olympic Games)
In the big South American derby, Dunga started without Pato or Thiago Neves and his Brazil side looked toothless as they played out a goalless first half. After the break Argentina grew in confidence, and Sergio Aguero finally broke the deadlock when he got his body on the end of a powerful cross from Di Maria. Aguero, who had previously failed to score in China, then added his and Argentina’s second, standing in the right place to turn home a right wing cross. Dunga threw on Pato and Neves in despair, but it was all Argentina and Juan Roman Riquelme added a third from the spot after Aguero had been felled. Having never won the Olympics, Brazil then disgraced themselves in the closing stage having Lucas and Neves sent off. Dunga’s job hangs by a thread.
