The Old Lady were edged into third place despite winning on the final day, Vincenzo Iaquinta slid Juve ahead inside three minutes before Iaquinta doubled the lead just before the hour mark after being played through by Pavel Nedved. The Czech international was given a heroes send-off when he was substituted with minutes remaining.
