The Spanish Under-19 side took the lead in the 18th minute, Rodrigo opening the scoring after a delicious outside of the foot ball from Dani Pacheco – the Liverpool starlet living up to his nickname as the “new Xavi.” France found an equaliser at the start of the second half, Arsenal striker Gilles Sunu lobbing the keeper after he was played in by Tafer. With five minutes to go of the 90, Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette capitalised on France’s second half dominance to score their second with a header at the back post after great work by Gael Kakuta.
