After a goalless first half Didier Drogba broke the deadlock with a deflected free-kick and the Flying Elephants looked well in control when Bamba Souleyman claimed the second. Paraguay hit back first through Lucas Barrios who chested the ball down and finished well and late on Aureliano Torres equalised from a free-kick.
