In a battle of strugglers at the Via del Mare stadium, Lecce were within seconds of claiming three valuable points in their fight against relegation after benefiting from an 11th-minute goal by Daniele Corvia. The visitors should have pulled level with nine minutes remaining but Igor Budan saw his penalty saved by Lecce goalkeeper Antonio Rosati, but it was left to Bogdani to end their three-game losing streak with an injury-time winning header.
