29/11/2009: Barcelona - Real Madrid 1-0 (Liga)
Cristiano Ronaldo had a fabulous chance to fired Real into a 19th minute lead at Barca but Valdez got down low to turn the shot aside. Iker Casillas had to be on his toes to save Theirry Henry’s effort into the near post, while Henry was later found pleading fair play after tangling with Madrid centre-half Pepe. In the second half Guardiola replaced an ineffective Henry with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and within a couple of minutes of his introduction the Swede cracked in a volley from a delicious Dani Alves cross. Barca then found themselves down to ten men as Sergio Busquets picked up a needless second yellow card. Eric Abidal wasted a chance to extended Barca’s lead when he found himself in space in the inside left channel.
