After only three minutes Juan Albin headed home a delicious cross from Jaime Gavilan to give Getafe the lead. Juan Albin then put Getafe two-up with a great run and finish. Javier Saviola pulled one back from a Guti through ball to give Schuster some hope. But Getafe caught Madrid on the break and Ikechukwu Uche grabbed the killer third.
