A woeful 120 minutes, where neither team truly went for the jugular, was decided with the first penalty shoot out of the 2010 World Cup. Yuichi Komani was the only player to miss with Japan’s third penalty, Oscar Cardozo stroked home Paraguay’s winner to send them into the quarter finals for the first time in their history.
