Hoffenheim lost the ball in their own half after just three minutes of the match, and after Dortmund put together a couple passes Jakub Blaszczykowski fired the visitors in the lead. The Village Team drew level minutes after the break as Demba Ba powerfully headed home a corner. Nuri Sahin grabbed the winner for Dortmund from the penalty spot 11 minutes from time.
