Colombian left-back Pablo Armero scored a thumping header to put Udinese 2-1 up in the tie. The Arsenalistas equalised in the 72nd minute when Mossoro did brilliantly to keep the ball in by the byline, before he crossed for Ruben Micaelto head in from close range. The match was settled on penalties, where Maicosuel was the villain after his panenka penalty was caught by the keeper.
