Olivier Giroud saw a decent chance saved by Julio Cesar early on. Cesar almost spilled a fizzy Jack Wilshere shot soon after. Olivier Giroud tried an ambitious shot from a tough angle, but Cesar got down early and parried it away. Junior Hoilett took a ball from over the top and lobbed Manonne, but was correctly ruled offside. Arsenal continued to pepper efforts at Cesar, and the QPR ‘keeper made a real meal of this save. Santi Cazorla had the best chance of the game, but his composure eluded him as he blazed over. Mikel Arteta eventually forced the ball over the line on 84′.
