27/10/2009: Barnsley-Manchester United 0-2 (Carling Cup)
A simple header from Danny Welbeck from an Anderson corner after just six minutes put Manchester United in the lead at Barnsley. On the hour Little Mickey scored a classy second for United, the striker slickly beating his marker before drilling a low shot into the bottom corner. Gary Neville then got himself sent off for a studs-up challenge on Tykes’ winger Adam Hammill.
