Claudio Pizarro gave Werder Bremen a 2nd minute lead away at Bayern, kneeing in a cross from Arnautovic and refusing to celebrate against his former club. Just before the half hour midfield talisman Bastian Schweinsteiger levelled things up, despite looking offside. With 16 minutes to go, Bastian Schweinsteiger hit an absolute hammer of a right foot shot that slammed into the Bremen net to secure the win.
