The Red Devils struck a minute before the interval as Anderson went on a driving run from midfield before finishing with a lovely strike into the near post. Tom Cleverley curled home United’s second on 58, however the Magpies were soon back in the match when Papiss Demba Cisse tucked home a left wing cross at the back stick.
