The MLS All Stars took the lead on 20 minutes as a cross from Henry was played into the path of Chris Wondolowski by John Terry. Twelve minutes later Chelsea equalised with a trademark John Terry header from a Lampard free-kick. At the end of the first half Thierry Henry shot just over from a Beckham pass. On the hour Frank Lampard put Chelsea ahead as he converted a Ramires cross at the back post. With 20 minutes to go Chris Pontius levelled things up again with Beckham involved in the build-up. The MLS bagged a late winner in injury time to win it – a deflected effort from Eddie Johnson.
