John Obi Mikel had a great chance to give Nigeria the lead but he badly scuffed his penalty. Emmanuel Emenike put the Super Eagles ahead after good work from John Obi Mikel. The Zambia goalkeeper, Kennedy Mweene, equalised for the underdogs with a beautiful penalty into the top corner.
