Facing a European k.o., Rangers got off to the worst possible start at home to Stuttgart as Alex Hleb whipped in a cross in from the left that eventually fell for Sebastian Rudy at the far post to slide in. Zdravko Kuzmanovic saw a wonderful free-kick harshly ruled out in the first half, but the Serb striker got his name on the scoresheet on the hour heading home a Rudy cross from 10-yards.
