The Bianconeri opened early doors as Emanuele Giaccherini bagged his second goal in as many games as the Roma backline split like the Red Sea. Alessandro Del Piero doubled the Turin side’s lead with a stunning curler into the top corner. Roma’s match soured further in the 68th minute when upstart Erik Lamela collected his marching orders for a two footed lunge on Giorgio Chiellini. A terrible evening for Roma was completed at the death when a Simon Kjaer own goal handed Juve a third.
