Trailing 3-nil from the first leg, after 27 minutes Zlatan Ibrahimovic pulled a goal back with a stunning opener for Inter against Samp, collecting the ball on the edge of the D, controlling on his thigh and crashing a volley into the far corner. Inter were frustrated in the second half and had Marco Materazzi sent off at the death.
