David Beckham was left disappointed after La couldn’t see off the underdogs and lost 5-4 on a penalty shoot-out. Mike Magee put Galaxy in front sweeping home after a fine break involving Beckham and Donovan. Robbie Findley equalised and although Beckham scored his penalty in the shoot-out, Landon Donovan missed his as did Korovski and Buddle to give RSL a hugely surprising MLS Cup.
