After their fine recent form it was somewhat of a surprise when Lecce took the lead on 20 minutes after fine work by Luis Muriel. Giampaolo Pazzini drew Inter level with a near post finish. Diego Milito completed the Inter comeback just after half-time from a fine Ricky Alvarez through ball. Further goals from Esteban Cambiasso (great work from Nagatomo) and Ricky Alvarez (Nagatomo assist again) completed the win.
