Juventus had the ball in the Atalanta net early doors only for the goal to be chalked out for offside. Juve continued to pres, and they rewarded when Del Piero scored yet again in the league after receiving an inviting cross from Marchionni. And the Old Lady soon doubled their lead, Nicola Legrottaglie powering home a corner six minutes later. After the break Christian Vieri rifled home a header to pulled a goal back, but Amuari settled the match with a third 8 minutes from time.
I bianconeri vincono 3-1 a Bergamo: gol del capitano Del Piero, di Legrottaglie e del centravanti brasiliano Amauri. A inizio ripresa Vieri accorcia momentaneamente le distanze, ma non basta alla squadra di Del Neri, che si lamenta per un fuorigioco nella rete dell’1-0.
