The failings of Milan keeper Dida were on full view as the Rossoneri fell behind in the Bernabeu, Granero’s shot was headed straight down the keeper’s throat only for the Brazilian to horrendously fumble his catch allowing Raul the easiest of tap-ins. Midway through the second half Milan levelled with a screamer, Andrea Pirlo picked up the ball 35-yards from goal and, with nothing much on, the schemer rifled a stunner into Casillas’ near post. Milan then incredibly stole the lead, Casillas unnecessarily raced out his goal to cut out a ball over the top only for Alexandre Pato to beat him to the and score into the empty net. The Los Blancos rallied, Roysten Drenthe scoring from a corner to set up a grandstand finish. Raul had a goal cleared off the line and Milan had a goal furiously chalked off before Alexandre Pato stunned Real by volleying in Milan’s third from an exquisite Seedorf chipped pass.
Dida combina un “didastro” e lancia i blancos, poi la riscossa innescata da Pirlo e concretizzatata due volte da Pato. Il Milan ottine il massimo con pochi titi in porta, il real è solo un abbozzo di squadra.
