AC Milan took the lead in the eighth minute, Clarence Seedorf played a one-two off the chest of Lazio’s Ledesma and blasted a shot into the roof of the net. Mauro Zarate brought Lazio level on 26 minutes, beating the offside trap and finishing past Abbiati. Gianluca Zambrotta restored Milan’s lead with a brilliant effort from 31 metres that gave Carrizo no chance as it whistled into the net. After the break the Rossoneri took control, Alexandre Pato made it 3-1 heading in a Jankulovski cross and then Kaka scored the fourth with a terrific curling strike from outside the box.
