Theofanis Gekas and Adrain Ramos put Hertha two goals ahead within ten minutes, and the visitors never looked back. Gekas added another on 26 minutes before Grafite pulled one back for Wolfsburg a minute after his introduction from the bench. Hertha powered forward in the second half as Gekas completed his hat-trick to ensure three points for Hertha. Ramos completed his brace on 84 minutes, capping an emphatic win for the relegation battlers.
