Midway through the first half Roma scored, as Taddei crossed from the left and Miralem Pjanic converted from close range. Ten minutes in the second half Fernando Gago doubled the Romans lead with a 20-yarder, but Lecce soon had hope Andrea Bertolacci reduced the deficit by putting the visitors on the board.
