A low Angelo Palombo shot squirmed its way into the Siena net as Samp went 1-up. The hosts doubled their lead as Daniele Mannini broke the Siena offside trap to coolly chip the keeper, and minutes into the second half Marco Padalino killed the match tucking home a rebound from six yards. Michele Fini netted a consolation in the 68th minute while Padalino grabbed Samp’s fourth at the death.
