Samir Nasri fired a low shot down the throat of Petr Cech after 20 minutes of the London derby, but it was Chelsea who struck first minutes before the break as Ashley Cole delivered a perfect cross for Didier Drogba who steered the ball into the far top corner. In the 44th minute Arsenal shot themselves in the foot as a dangerous left-wing cross from Ashley Cole was turned into his own net by Thomas Vermaelen. Manuel Almunia had to react quickly to turn aside a Drogba shot which deflected off Frank Lampard’s chest early in the second half, and five minutes from time Didier Drogba wrapped up yet another comfortable Chelsea win with a sublime free-kick.

Drogba ha firmato l’1-0 con tocco di piatto destro all’incrocio dei pali da cross di Cole e dopo due minuti Vermaelen ha messo nella sua porta il 2-0 per un clamoroso autogol. Nella ripresa ancora Drogba ha chiuso la partita con una strepitosa punizione di piatto destro che non ha lasciato scampo al portiere dell’Arsenal.

Inter increased their stronghold on Serie A with a last-gasp win over the Viola as Diego Milito won a questionable penalty and the Argentine dispatched the spot-kick with aplomb.

A first half wonder goal by Nene, and a late breakaway second by substitute Alessandro Matri did the damage as the Bianconeri produced their second dismal performance in the space of a week.

I bianconeri perdono 2-0 al Sant’Elia: decidono i gol, uno per tempo, di Nenè e Matri. Primo tempo sottotono per la squadra di errara, più tonica e orgogliosa nella ripresa, ma sempre poco convincente sul piano della manovra e della pericolosità offensiva.
