David Alaba put Bayern in control on the quarter hour, but on the stroke of halftime Paolo Cannavaro levelled for Napoli with a sublime overhead-kick. Goran Pandev swung the match in Napoli’s favour in the 67th, but the match looked destined for a stalemate when Xherdan Shaqiri found the target in the 74th. Napoli, however, had other ideas, and Lorenzo Insigne snatched a winner 8 minutes from time.
