Rui Costa (Movistar) continued a memorable week at the Tour de France by winning stage 19 in Le Grand-Bornand. Costa, who won in Gap on Monday, overtook a spent Pierre Rolland (Europcar) with 20km to go and then held off four chasers led by Andreas Kloden (RadioShack-Leopard) during the tricky downhill finish for a solo victory. The top four GC contenders were all still together despite five large climbs on the day as they reached the final descent and race leader Chris Froome (Team Sky) now just has one more day in the mountains to survive before Sunday’s flat procession into Paris.
