Holland broke the deadlock in the 11th minute as Robben cut in from the left, passed to Rafael van der Vaart who was standing in the edge of the box, and the Tottenham midfielder curled a cracker in the far top corner. The Seleccao equalised midway through the first half when Cristiano Ronaldo was released through the middle and the Real Madrid forward finished calmly.
