Sebastian Vettel added gloss to his drivers’ crown with a commanding race win at the Korean Grand Prix in Yeongam. The German surged ahead of polesitter Lewis Hamilton midway through the first lap and did not relinquish his advantage again. The race panned out much like the championship race this season – with Vettel pulling comfortably clear of all his rivals, who squabbled furiously behind him for second to fifth positions. In the end, Hamilton held off the challenge of Mark Webber, whose third place meant that Red Bull wrapped up the defence of their constructors’ crown.
