Adriano continued his fine goal scoring start to the season with the opener, after a fine Fabregas run, on 32. After coming on as a sub on 59, Lionel Messi sealed the win, first with a penalty on 74 and then a tap-in on 78. Getafe pulled a goal back through a Javier Mascherano own goal but the icing on the cake came from David Villa who scored Barca’s fourth.
