After streaking past the Nurnberg defence at the start of the second half, Eljaro Elia produced a cute chipped finish to put Hamburg in the lead. Elia then teed up Marcell Jansen to score on the hour mark, Tunay Torun added Hamburg’s third on 66 minutes before Netherlands international Elia scored his second of the game on 74 minutes.
