Mario Gomez got Bayern on their way at Bochum after 23 minutes, Mergim Mavraj turned in a left wing cross into his own net to double Bayern’s lead, and Ivica Olic made it three minutes before the interval. Bayern killed the match as a spectacle at the start of the second half as Ivica Olic headed home Munich’s fourth, and Danijel Pranjic increased the humiliation grabbing number five. Christian Fuchs replied with a consolation for Bochum with 14 minutes remaining.
