The game got off to an electric pace with a red hot atmosphere. Poland put together a great move, ruled out for offside, finished by Eugen Polanski. On 37 Alan Dzagoev flicked in his third of the tournament from an Arshavin free-kick for 1-0 Russia. Poland equalised on 57 thanks to a cracking strike from captain Jakub Błaszczykowski.
