Celtic Park was momentarily silenced in just the third minute when Matri ran through, and Claudio Marchisio finished off what proved to be a simple chance. The Bianconeri took a decisive second goal midway through the second half when Claudio Marchisio steered in a second. Celtic were killed off in the 83rd minute when Marchisio teed up Mirko Vucinic for a third.
