Barcelona suffered a difficult start to the cup tie when young defender Andreu Fontas was stretchered off after just 12 minutes. Barca’s hairy moments continued soon after when a Gerard Pique goalline clearance followed by a smart stop from Pinto denied Osasuna from scoring. Four minutes from the break Osasuna took a deserved lead as Dejan Lekic drilled a low shot through Pinto and into the net. Barcelona wasted little time drawing level after the interval as Alexis Sanchez headed home an Adriano cross in the 48th. Barcelona completed their turnaround in the 72nd minute as Messi played in Sergi Roberto down the left hand side and the youngster fired a neat shot into the far post.
