Mesut Ozil blasted Germany ahead on the half hour when the Real Madrid schemer belted a first-time shot off the underside of the bar from 20-yards. The Germans made it two in three minutes when a classy counter-attack was finished with a tidy dink from Leverkusen youngster Andre Schurrle. Two minutes after the break Muller and Ozil teed up Mario Gomez to lash home the third. Everton’s Marouane Fellaini netted a late consolation for the Belgians.
