Video 11/04/2009: Genoa-Juventus 3-2
(Serie A)

Genoa’s Thiago Motta opened the scoring against the Old Lady before Alex Del Piero levelled with a controversial penalty for Juve. But Genoa retook the lead early in the second half as Thiago Motta claimed his second of the night. Juve then lost Mauro Camoranesi midway through the second half, but, with their title dreams fading away Vincenzo Iaquinta popped up to level matters with six minutes remaining. But Genoa, with their own dreams of Champions League football, refused to lose and Raffaele Palladino won the match two minutes from time.
