Briton Chaz Davies won the second race of the World Superbike weekend at the Nurburgring in Germany. Behind the ParkinGO MTC Racing rider was Ireland's Eugene Laverty on the Aprilia with FIXI Crescent Suzuki's Leon Camier of Britain completing the podium. Championship leader Max Biaggi was down in 13th while fellow Italian Marco Melandri, second in the standings, retired. Briton Leon Haslam also failed to finish.
