:West Ham dominated the first half hour, but Everton took the lead through Louis Saha. Saha drilled a left foot shot into the bottom left hand corner from 20 yards out. Dan Gosling put Everton two up, scoring after his inital shot had been saved. West Ham quickly hit back. A long ball found Junior Stanislas who chipped Tim Howard. Tony Hibbert raced back to clear, only for the defender to slice the ball into his own net.
