After a fairly evenly balanced first half hour, it was Matthew Ethrington who popped up to break the dead-lock latching on to a long ball and cooly finishing with a fierce drive. Hull replied on 60 minutes with Olofinjana curling a lovely effort from 20 yards out around the goalkeeper. The KC Stadium goes mental as Jan Venegoor of Hesselink slots into the Stoke net. Hull take all 3 points.
