After a goalless first half in Cagliari, Roma took the lead in the 52nd minute when Mirko Vucinic appeared to fall a little too easily in the hosts’ box and David Pizarro dispatched the spot-kick. With their noses in front Roma were quick to double their lead, Taddei the architect before Simone Perotta slotted in the second. As the 90th minute ticked over Cagliari gave themselves a lifeline as Daniele Conti tucked in a scrappy corner. And in the 92nd minute the home crowd went bananas as Diego Luis Lopez was in the right place at the right time to capitalise on a rebound and earn Cagliari a dramatic point.

Al Sant’Elia i giallorossi vanno in vantaggio di due gol con Pizarro (rigore contestato) e Perrotta. Sembrano avere il match in pugno ma poi Lopez e Conti tra il 45′ e il 48′ raddrizzano la partita.
