Arsenal took the lead on 90 seconds, Yossi Benayoun curling hom a beauty from the edge of the box. Norwich equalised soon after, Szczęsny having a nightmare and letting Wes Hoolahan’s tame shot past him. Norwich took the lead through a quick-fire break, Grant Holt’s deflected shot looping over Szczesny. Kieran Gibbs had a decent chance to level before half time, but he dragged his shot wide. Robin Van Persie equalised for Arsenal, latching onto a trademark Alex Song ball over the top. Arsenal pushed on and went 3-2 ahead with yet another strike from RVP. Steve Morrison equalized for Norwich when put through 1v1 with a fine finish into the far corner. Norwich keeper John Ruddy made three saves in the final minute to deny Arsenal a winner.
