After just 9 minutes Cristian Tello slotted Barca into the lead from a delightful Lionel Messi assist. One of the other highlights of the first half was a black cat running onto the Nou Camp pitch. After spurning some good chances, Lionel Messi got over his recent “goal drought” of 3 games by hooking in Barcelona’s second on 72 from an Alves cross. Almost immediately, Carlos Vela halved the deficit after he was played in on goal. There was to be a sour taste for the home team despite their win, as Sergio Busquets picked up what looks like a serious injury just seconds after coming on.
